About this study
I turn towards one sound. The others do not stop.我轉向一個聲音。其他聲音，沒有因此停止。
I place six synthetic voices in the same field. As I turn the sphere, one sound comes forward while others recede almost beyond hearing. As I widen the range, they overlap again. My hand changes their balance; it does not stop the other voices.
When I linger near Pulse, I find myself waiting before the next swell arrives. I choose the direction, but the sound’s cycle does not speed up with my hand. I can turn again, or give the next few seconds to its rhythm.
我把六個合成聲部放在同一個場域。轉動球面，一種聲音浮上來，另一些退到幾乎聽不見；放寬範圍，它們重新交疊。我的手改變了它們的比例，沒有讓其他聲部停止。
停在「脈動」附近，下一次起伏還沒有到，我已經開始等。方向由我選擇，聲音的週期卻不跟著我的手加快。我可以再轉向，也可以把接下來的幾秒交給這個節奏。
